2014/11/06 - LEAP/E2020 Press Review on the Global Systemic Crisis

Europe dragged into a division of the world between debtors and creditors
Europe is now being taken for a ride. Evidenced, for example, by Belgium’s purchase of $130 billion worth of US Treasuries in three months from October 2013 to January 2014, being at an annual rate greater than its GDP… It’s certainly not Belgium itself which is responsible for this aberration, but Brussels of course, that’s to say the EU as a little US soldier. Politically Europe is stifled by the US which can take heart in the absence of any leadership. And the way to permanently seal this American stranglehold over Europe is called the TTIP…

1.      Visions de comarca i enfocament estratègic.
2.      Governament, planificació territorial i paisatge.
3.      Participació als espais d’alt valor ambiental i cultural.

2014/10/30 LEAP/E2020 Press Review on the Global Systemic Crisis

Principles of a trans-European taxation system
If the member states are so willing to give themselves the means to further increase the taxable share of economic activity and so united around this cause, why don’t they put this unison at the service of a project which only depends on them: that of trans-European taxation? Certainly a trans-European taxation system wouldn’t be enough to tax all the money generated in the world. But, already, it would allow part of businesses and individuals’ taxation operating in Europe to be simplified, preventing “double non-taxation”...
