2015/01/23 - LEAP/E2020 Press Review on the Global Systemic Crisis. Libertad, Igualdad, Pluralidad.

2015 Omni-dimensional crisis: protecting oneself in stormy weather
The enormous dangers weighing on the banking and financial systems, especially in the West, but also on social and geopolitical peace, leads our team to warn the readers to be on their guard. The issue is protecting one’s assets creatively, with diversification of solutions always the principal instruction [...] The purchase of gold especially, but also jewelry, precious metals, remains our first recommendation, up to 20% to 30% of one’s portfolio; for the remaining assets at the banks, think about the safest foreign banks as well, especially Chinese, which now have branches in Western countries; stay liquid: cash, cash, cash, in several currencies outside banks...

Mostrando cartell jorn igualtat 2015 menut.jpg
Benvolgudes companyes i amigues:

2015/01/16 LEAP/E2020 Press Review on the Global Systemic Crisis. Libertad, Igualdad, Pluralidad.

First half of 2015 – Oil, the Middle East, Charlie Hebdo… Last resilience tests of the Western “model”: adapt or die
To be and not to be Charlie.. Our team had anticipated that the explosion of tensions in the Middle East would have a rapid impact on European societies, bringing great risks to our democracies1. The European crisis, as we have often said, well beyond the intrinsic value of the individuals who compose it, has revealed a structural weakness in the European political system technically disconnected from its citizens. The great fear that Europe had in 2014 of going to war with a neighbour led, in 2015, to a real return of politics: we saw a Juncker Commission that decided to legitimize its political decisions, national governments finally aware of the need for political union, highly mobilized citizens.

The impact of speculation in the oil business
Speculation is an important driver of oil prices. Those not participating in the oil business can speculate by buying oil futures and options and all kinds of exotic financial products linked to the oil price. In 2013 traders held an average of 1.6 million WTI oil futures contracts equivalent to 1.6 billion paper barrels of oil. A major part of the oil market consists of oil traded in the US markets, called WTI and oil produced in the North Sea and traded in Europe, called Brent. The US WTI market has become the little brother of the Brent market that is even more sensitive to oil speculation and manipulation...Read more upon subscription
